This is from the time I fed sparrows at Notre Dame Cathedral! (I’m the girl in blue) It’s the craziest feeling having all those feet and wings descend upon your hands!! Have any of you ever done something like this? :)
音は物が振るえて発生し、その振るえが空気を振動させ、耳の中の鼓膜に届くことで聞こえます。しかし、雪が降っていると雪が空気の振動を吸収してしまうので音が遠くまで届きにくくなります。そのためにあたり一面がシーンと静まりかえったように感じるのです。
雪がなぜ音を吸収してしまうかというと、秘密は雪の結晶の形が特別だからです。クリスマスデコレーションのモチーフにも使われる、六角形や八角形などのあのかわいい形です。
雪の結晶には小さな隙間がいくつもあるので、そこに音が閉じこめられてしまうのです。条件によっては、雪は80％以上の音を吸収するとも言われています。

Rescued sparrow babies also demand to be close - sitting on either on palm, wrist, forearm, elbow, upper arm, shoulder - or top of my head
they don’t mind me typing and etc.
I think for body heat they need it (also they do come to identify caretaker as parents)
